Our beloved Agnes E. VonBritton, 84, a 45-year resident of Northford CT, passed away at St. Raphael's Hospital on March 4, 2024. Born in Fork Union, VA January 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henrietta Carl. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. VonBritton; daughters, Delita VonBritton of Hamden, and Adriane VonBritton of Hamden; sons, Ashley VonBritton of New Haven, Gregory VonBritton of Newington and Joseph VonBritton of Hartford; siblings, James Carl, Martha Carl of NY, Carolyn Reinhart of Hamden, and Watson Carl of NY, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings Robert, Anthony, and John Carl. Agnes had worked as a childcare provider for the State of CT, and was an advocate for those with special needs.

Friends are invited to visit with Agnes's family from 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 8th at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave. , Hamden. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery.
