In Farmington, CT, Oct. 3, 2001, Alice Bassett Lilley, formerly of Westerleigh Rd., New Haven, wife of the late Charles Lilley, mother of Donald Lilley of Cheshire and Raymond Lilley, Brig. Gen. USAF, Ret. of West Hartford, sister of the late Gertrude B. Post. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was born in New Haven, April 24, 1905 a daughter of the late George F. and Gertrude Hutchins Bassett and worked as a stenographer for the former Berger Brothers. Funeral service Friday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
