  11. My sincere condolences on the passing of Betty. I worked with her for many years at AAA. Betty was ALWAYS in a great mood and always had nice things to say. No matter what we were
Going through in a day or how crazy it was she could always put a smile on my face. She was a lovely, lovely woman who will be remembered fondly. Betty had a zest for life and loved her family dearly who she often spoke of. May she rest in peaceful heaven.

  12. So many memories! We have laughed till we cried. We shed some hard tears as well. We will hold dear many of Betty’s gentle ways. She would say, “I’ll think about it” which meant, NO, absolutely not. Yet, she was totally loyal to the family and would zealously defend them. She was generous with her love, compassion and kindness. She made us better people and the world was a better place because of her. We will love and miss her always. So glad she was in our lives.

  13. Dear Liz, Tim and family – your Mom and I have been friends forever. She was the most dearest, sweetest, caring and loving person I have ever met. She truly loved her family and always spoke of them with love. While I know we will always miss her, we have so many wonderful memories of who she was and we can keep them always. Betty-Ann is “safely home” now in our loving Savior’s arms. My deepest and sincerest sympathy to all of you and of course her treasured Amanda. God’s peace and love,
    Peggy (Tosetti) Limosani

Your Mom was like a Mom to me, always there to have a conversation with, always making me smile whenever I’d stop by, and of course, one of my Mom’s very best friends all the way to living right next to each other at Atria! She was a very sweet, kind, loving lady who I will never forget! RIP Betty ❤️ Much love to you all…

  21. I met Betty Ann when we both entered kindergarten in Mt. Carmel and we became close friends, as did our parents. Many wonderful childhood memories. Condolences to her family. I wish that I could attend the funeral but am now living in upstate, New York.

  22. Betty Ann was one of the most loving and gracious women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing . Although it has been many years since our families lost touch , I will never forget her open arms to her home and heart for many years we shared being neighbors and a blended family .

I still make “ Betty’s” potato casserole and her strawberry pretzel dessert on regular occasions and think of her in memory .

I am so sorry for the loss your family endures now , but I hope you are resting in peace .

Thank you again for all of your love and memories as a kid ! Love always , Melissa Cerilli

  23. Dear Liz and Tim – I am so sorry that the world has lost your dear sweet mother! She was a beautiful bridesmaid at my parents’ wedding in 1949 in Douglaston, NY, and always my grandmother’s favorite niece. She was also a favorite of my Dad, and our families enjoyed many lovely days together. I will always remember a picnic at Sturbridge Village – Betty Ann brought gorgeous food, linen tablecloth, china plates and sterling silverware. She was the ultimate class act as well as being warm and loving and down to earth. The Perryman children were blessed to know our cousin Betty Ann.

  24. Dear Liz and Tim,
Your Mom and I were friends from kindergarten at Mt. Carmel School through high school at Hamden High. Our birthdays were two days apart and we all went to the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church. Such wonderful memories. We will miss her tremendously, especially her wonderful smile and her caring personality.
    Dick and Sally Jaynes

  27. Tim & Liz I am so very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. If there is anything I can do please dont hesitate to reach out.

  28. Betty Ann and I were close friends through most of grade school and through us our parents became good friends. As adults we drifted apart but reconnected about ten years ago through phone calls. Unfortunately, distance separated us and we never saw one another again. She was a wonderful friend and as children she frequently visited our house in Mt. Carmel and later in New Haven where we had moved and I visited her house at 20 Vincent Street in Hamden many times.

  29. My condolences go out to Betty’s family. I worked with Betty for many years and she was so gracious to work woth. We shared many laughs and she was a genuine
person. So nice to everyone and truly a loving person. I enjoyed her lemon squares she would bring in at times and just a Happy Soul. Rest in Peace Betty. The Heavens has gained another Angel.
