Bianca Clara De Vivo (Di Gioia) entered eternal life on March 22, 2022 peacefully after a long illness. Bianca was pre-deceased by her parents Guiseppe and Maria Claudia (Ferrucci) Di Gioia, as well as siblings Maria and Frederico. She is survived by her brothers Frederick (Connie), Giacinto (Anna), and Nicola (Mary), along with her sisters Elena (Hosni) Audie and Lucia (Bill) Giovanni. Bianca was the beloved wife for over 50 years of William De Vivo, Sr. of Orange, Connecticut. A devoted mom, Bianca relished the time she spent with her children Billy (Maria) De Vivo and Ann Marie (John) Keaney. She was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a cousin to so many in the Di Gioia family. Bianca was born in 1940 in Amorosi, Benevento, Italy, and moved to the United States in December of 1952. Bianca was a proud Italian American and could be found most Sundays and holidays preparing Sunday sauce, or holiday pies, or anginetti cookies. She was also a spiritual Roman Catholic and could never be disturbed each day at 9am saying the rosary with EWTN Catholic network. Bianca was loving and caring so much to so many, especially her grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren. Connor, Francesco, Jack, William, Cristiana, Bianca, Marielena, and Valentina were the light of her life. Being their Nonnie was her truest joy in life. Even with so many to look after, Nonnie made sure each grandchild was spoiled with love and of course homemade Italian food. We all have our cherished memories of the time we spent with Bianca, and she will be missed dearly. Friends are invited to visit with Bianca’s family on Friday, March 25th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT Funeral Service, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Infant Church. Internment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss
Our sincere sympathy to all of Bianca’s family. We had many laughs and
good times. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, etc to
all of her family and she will be missed very much. We were fortunate to
know her and share occasions together from the 1970’s when we moved
a few houses down from them. Rest in Peace. We KNOW YOU ARE IN
HEAVEN.
