At her home surrounded by her loving family, Charlotte Spezzano Adinolfi, 88, passed away Jan. 10, 2004, wife of John S. Adinolfi of Half Mile Rd., North Haven, mother of Gerald Adinolfi and his wife, Ruth of Northford, Mary Provini and her husband, Ray of North Haven, Paul Adinolfi and his wife, Cynthia, Susan Reid and her husband, Alan of Hamden and Justin Adinolfi and his wife, Jane of Cheshire and sister of Amelia (Emily) Moore of North Branford. Also survived by a daughter-in-law, Karin Adinolfi of North Haven, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John Adinolfi, a brother, Joseph Spezzano, and sisters, Rose Frontera, Frances Luparia, Angelina (Angie) Nichols. Charlotte was born May 2, 1915 in North Branford, a daughter of the late Carmine and Mary Algieri Spezzano. She grew up on the family farm, Spezzano - Riverside Farm in North Branford. She was a graduate of Albertus Magnus College class of 1937. She lived in North Haven for all 59 years of married life. She perfected her hobbies of baking, sewing and other crafts. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Therese Church. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tues., Jan. 13, 2004 at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10 a.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice Home Care, 110 Barnes Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492.
