So very sad to hear of Cynthia’s passing. Cynthia, Duke, Grace & Lillian all lived next door to my grandmother on Violet St. Occasionally she would babysit my brother & me. One time, I remember her taking me with her to set up her classroom at Bear Path before the beginning of the new school year. Must have been 10 or 12 yrs old at the time. Wonderful memories of Cynthi, like I used to call her. All my love & prayers to her family.
Cynthia was a dear lifelong friend of my Aunt Jeanne Flynn. They taught together at Bear Path and travelled together to many places: Barbados, France, Australia and more. I knew her as a child when Aunt Jeanne brought me to help with setting up their classroom bulletin boards (they were both weak at art) and again as an adult when I travelled twice with her and Jeanne on Mediterranean cruises, along with my parents. I enjoyed her intelligent company so much— she also had great personal style. I’m sorry to hear that Cynthia is gone, as is Jeanne, but I will hold many fond memories of her.
