Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Vicki and family members:
My deepest condolences to each of you upon David’s passing. I recall times out in a group for a dinner, usually prior to a theater production, and David always was such an engaging presence with his sense of humor and great stories. That legacy of warmth of personality and generosity of spirit will be long remembered by anyone who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
    Respectfully,
    Patrick Irlbeck

  2. Dear Vicki and family members,
I worked closely with David for ten years at DMHAS. I will remember his sense of humor and commitment to his work. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

  3. Dear Vicki and Donna,
I have such fond memories of David from our UCONN days. I would think of him often, remembering the dinners that the four of us shared later on in life. Lori and I send our deepest sympathies to you all. May David rest in peace.

  4. Dear Vicki, I’m very sorry about the loss of your husband David. May he Rest In Peace.
    Pat Bollettieri

  5. I have many fond memories of working with David at DMHAS in the nineties. So sorry to learn of his passing. Vicki, we never met but he spoke of you so often, I felt as though we had. I’m sure you will miss him so.

    Kathy Fox

  6. “Grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” Keeping Vicki, Donna, Dana and all family and friends of David in my prayers.

  7. James (Jim) Shpunt
Worked for Dave at DMHAS in the Engineering Department. Always enjoyed our meetings and his expertise. Talked Red Sox and UCONN Basketball often with Dave.
    Sorry for your loss.

  8. Vicki:
Time passes so fast and I am so sorry for your loss and David’s passing. I’m sorry we lost touch the past years as Nancy and I truly enjoyed both of your companies.
David was one of the best people I ever met at DMHAS or anywhere. He was kind, funny, extremely smart, more than fair and we would give each other grief just for the fun of it. I truly enjoyed our lunches and the wine consumed.
My prayers are with you and all of David’s family. I know David is at rest and peace.

  9. Dave, my roommate and best friend at UConn. I will miss our long-distance conversations over the past 52 years. You made me a better person. Thank you my old and faithful friend.

  10. I am deeply saddened by David’s passing. My deepest condolences to dear Vicki and family. You are in my heart and thoughts.

  11. Just saw this. Dave was an integral part in building our home in Clinton, Ct. I have thought of him often over the years always with a smile. You have lost a beautiful soul !
