Fogarty, Dorothy Bernice Gauggel Dorothy Bernice Gauggel Fogarty, 91, of New Haven, passed away March 20, 2010 in Cincinnati, OH, beloved wife of the late William A. Fogarty, loving mother of William S. (Judith) Fogarty of Alpharetta, GA and Pamela Smith of Maineville, OH, grandmother of Lauren Fogarty, Colleen Fogarty, Stephen (Carla) Smith, Brian Smith, Gregory (Laura) Smith, Andrew Smith and great-grandmother of Chloe, Maxwell, Samuel, Hailey, Hannah and Tyler Smith. Preceded in death by her parents Stephen F. Gauggel and Vina Bullis Gauggel and her sister Vina S.J. Gauggel. Bernice graduated from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT and retired from the State of Connecticut Welfare Dept. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven, Friday, March 26 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, Orange at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, CT.
