In the Lutheran Home of Southbury, June 10, 2001, Dorothy E. Stroehlin, 80, formerly of 80 Hanover St., Meriden. She was born in Meriden, Sept. 1, 1920 daughter of the late Frederick W. & Frances E. Butler Stroehlin. Before her retirement she was an account specialist with the Travelers Insurance Co. She was a member of Friends of the Library, Church Women United, Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a Literacy Volunteer all in Meriden. She is survived by several cousins. Funeral service Wednesday, June 13 at 10 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Pastor Perry L. Beaver officiating. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
