My heart goes out to Marybeth and to the large blended family Earl left behind. I only knew Earl for the last few years of his life being his VA nurse, and I know above all else he cherished his family. He was a true gentleman, always open and honest, polite, caring, and he lived helping others. He always had his police scanner on, and continued his volunteer work with the So Meriden fire dept living vicariously through others. He loved his country, was a proud Veteran who served honorably, and it was a pleasure to have known Earl for just a short time. He was a bright light, who I will always remember fondly. My sincere condolences to all his family.
