Edna (Rosado) Sanchez, 69, of Meriden, loving wife of Jose Sanchez, passed away on January 26, 2024 at Midstate Medical Center. She was born in Meriden on November 1, 1954, a daughter of the late Guillermo and Aida (Negron) Rosado. Edna is survived by her loving children, Christina Sanchez and Joey Sanchez, her granddaughter Khila Sanchez, and her siblings Sandra Rosado, George Rosado, Carmen Boschetti, Samuel Rosado, Myra Maldonado and Lisa Maldonado. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers William Rosado and Raymond Rosado. Edna had a way of making anyone she encountered feel special. She was taken from us too soon, but lives on in our hearts and our memories forever.
A funeral service celebrating Edna’s life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Avenue, Meriden. Friends may visit with her family from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.

Titi, you were one of a kind. I think back on all the family parties we had, you were always the life of the party. Always smiling and always bringing the goodies to eat. I’m gonna miss those times. You always asked about my son and I appreciate that. See you soon. I Love you Titi Edna.

I always looked up to you. When I was a little girl you used to take me with you to work and I was always amazed by you. You were strong, educated, kind and always was down to have a good time. Now that I look back at my childhood and look at the woman I am now I know that I took what you showed me and applied to my life. Thank you for those lessons, the beautiful memories and for always making us laugh. You will be missed dearly Titi.

Edna, my sweet sister in law I will always think of you as a beautiful and sophisticated woman. You showed all of us how to be kind and help those in need and to work hard for what ever you wanted to achieve in life and for that I will always be grateful to have known so a wonderful woman.
