Pardee, Eleanor Guthrie In East Haven, April 7, 2007, Eleanor Guthrie Pardee, 92, of Central Ave., New Haven. Wife of the late Kenneth J. Pardee, Sr., mother of, Kenneth J. Pardee, Jr. of Guilford, Bradford H. Pardee of New Haven and Roger H. Pardee of Acton, NJ. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia Sargis, a brother, Burt Guthrie, a sister, Catherine Clark and a granddaughter, Karin Conway. Eleanor was born in New Haven, Sept. 21, 1914, a daughter of the late Burt and Jane Hall Guthrie. In her earlier years she had worked as a secretary. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Laurel Woods Healthcare and the CT Hospice Visiting Nurses for the kindness extended to our mother during this illness. Funeral service Wed., April 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, The Rev. Douglas J. House officiating.
