Eleanor was a lovely woman who was always pleasant to visit with. I met her when I visited my mom and aunt at Mary Wade. After so many years of visiting up on KII, I have continued to stop in at Mary Wade even though both my mother and aunt have passsed on. I always looked forward to chatting with Eleanor. I loved the way she was always so put together – her earrings always matched her outfit! We had a few laughs over that over the years. Please accept my condolences. It is hard to loose a parent. I feel fortunate that my mom and aunt were cared for by the folks at Mary Wade. I am sure you are as well. Mary Wade was partly a creation of Eleanor’s leadership. Her gift to Mary Wade has become a gift to all of us.
