Florence T. (Tousley) Sorensen In Hamden, March 23, 2002, Florence Tousley Sorensen, of Valley Rd., Hamden, wife of the late Harold Christian Sorensen. Mother of June Macdowall and Gail Giadoia both of Hamden. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, Russell Tousley and sisters, Mabel MacFarlane and Hazel Tousley. Mrs Sorensen was born in New Haven, Oct. 4, 1916, daughter of thye late Charles and Mary Callahan Tousley. She was employed as a secretary with the Louis H. Weiner Auto Parts, prior to her retirement then as a lunch aide at the Church St. School Hamden, for several years. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Monday morning, March 25th at 9:30 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
