Frances Eve Johnson
WALLINGFORD - Frances Eve Johnson, 72, of 225 Chimney Hill Road died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of Wayne Johnson. Born in Meriden on Dec. 24, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Ksawera Przybyszewski Lewoc. She was a 1948 graduate of Meriden High School after which she attended Albertus Magnus College. She was employed as an admitting officer at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. She was a member of South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member for many years of Rachel Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and James Keithan of Litchfield and Lisa Johnson of New Britain and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony Lewoc, Benjamin Lewoc and Fabian Lewoc. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Susan DeSousa will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Johnson's memory may be made to the South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church, 145 Main St., So. Meriden, CT 0645l.
