Gary D. Gamache, 62, of North Branford passed away tragically December 6, 2022 as the result of being struck by a motor vehicle. He was born in New Milford February 22, 1960, a son of Robert P. Gamache of Wallingford and the late Carol Zappe Gamache, and had resided in North Branford for many years. He graduated from North Haven H.S. in 1978 and Eastern Connecticut State College in 1982 with a B.S. degree in Biology. Gary was employed with Team Landscaping, and he was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. Brother of James R. Gamache and his wife Denise of Wallingford and David A. Gamache of Wallingford. Uncle of Matthew Gamache and the late Kevin Gamache.
Friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday, December 14th from 4-8 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.

  2. Mr Gamache and Jimmy & David, I am so sorry to hear this tragic news and so sorry for your loss. I have So many fond memories of growing up together, we had a great neighborhood group and I will always cherish those memories. My heart & prayers are with you all.

    • I was lucky enough to meet Gary because he did landscaping work at our home….It was Always a pleasure to see him working in our neighborhood…Very hard working and alwaysa gentleman…We had great talks about gardening.. I will miss seeing him… Our Condolences to his family…

  3. I worked with Bob and Paul at Northeast Utilities. I was privileged to have known and worked with the Gamache family. My prayers are with Bob and his family to endure such a tragic loss.

  4. I knew Gary by doing landscaping work in my yard.He was such a sweet and kind person,he also was a wonderful and hardworker and a gentleman.

  5. I was fortunate as a young man to be friends with Gary and others from North Haven High School. We enjoyed many great adventures, always in the outdoors. May his memory burn bright for all and may he be at peace.

    A donation in Gary’s memory was made to th CT Council of Trout Unlimited.

  6. Gary was a beautiful person and the best neighbor anyone could ask for, we will both miss his smiling face and cherry wave every time we drive by. Our condolences to Gary’s family.

    I graduated from NHHS in 1977 but knew Gary. He had always been a happy person, quick with a joke, a good friend to many. What a terrible loss. My condolences to his family and friends.
