Gayle L. Priebe
MERIDEN-Gayle L. Priebe, 69, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in her home. She was born in Meriden on June 18, 1948, daughter of the late Howard and Shirley Hubball Priebe. Gayle worked for many years for the City of Meriden in the Tax Assessors Office. She loved fresh cut flowers and especially her Mandevilla plants. Gayle was an avid reader who found no puzzle to be too challenging. She will be remembered for the warmth, kindness, and knowledge that she showed to her clients everyday of her career. Gayle is survived by her son Jeffrey Priebe; brother Howard Priebe; sisters Marlene Bevacque (James), Wendy Silverman (Richard), Karen Mingrino, and Lynn Trombley (Richard); sister-in-law Patricia Priebe; and ten nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother William Priebe. Funeral services for Gayle will be held privately. Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden is in care of the arrangements.
I miss Gail’s smiling face, she was the best neighbor a person could ask for. Sam’s road will not be the same without her. Arnold Burt
