Guy R. DiSarro

DURHAM-Guy R. DiSarro, 88, of 126 Parmelee Hill Road, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at Middlesex Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lillian Otte DiSarro. He was born Sept. 6, 1912, in Hartford,CT, a son of the late Joseph and Louise Martino DiSarro and worked in the maintenance department at the Long Lane School in Middletown. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Meriden, serving as a trustee and usher. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Robert Westendorff of Middletown and Denise D. DiSarro of Carmel, Indiana; and two brothers, Hugo DiSarro of East Hampton, CT and Alvin DiSarro of West Palm Beach, FL. He was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly DiSarro; an infant son, David DiSarro; seven sisters and three brothers. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 262 Bee St., Meriden. The Rev. Joel Rissinger will officiate. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
