Sherry, I remember you. Uncle Louie’s daughter. Just wanted to clarify that Cori was my moms daughter from her first marriage. Dad’s oldest three were Betsy, Polly, and Suzette. Thank you for remembering him and sharing these wonderful memories!
After my dad passed, life took us in different directions, and we lost touch over the years. That distance doesn’t take away from what he meant to me back then, or the impact he had on my life. I’ll always remember the role he played, the connection we shared, and the place he holds in my memories.
There’s a sadness in knowing time passed without reconnecting, but also gratitude for the moments we did have. I hope he knew how much he was loved and appreciated.
Rest peacefully—you will always be remembered.
Huck, Screwy Louie, Cliffie. Bucket Bill, Patsy, Auntie Gail, George Geerster MaryJane and Sue. What a reunion.
Ashley, Lindsay & Family, Your Dad was a great neighbor and always made sure that Nancy was looked after. I’m sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. May all your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.
Corine and family: I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I know how much you loved him. Keep the good memories close to your heart. Andrea
RIP Papa from my mother Cori his chosen daughter and her children Aaron and Andrew Lamson his grandchildren and my children Brighton,Lyonna,Josephine his great grand children. I love you and you will be missed from the earth to the heavens
Cori, Becky, Rob, Aaron, Andrew and all the grandkids that weren’t included in the obituary- I am so sorry for your loss. I know this relationship with your dad/grandfather/great grandfather has been difficult but he knows you all loved him and is watching over you from above. You all have a beautiful guardian angel. Stay strong and know he loved you all along.
Cori – your relationship with your dad has always been special, you were the chosen daughter. He adopted you when you were just a young girl and loved you throughout your life. He chose to love you and bring you under his wing and that right there is the most special memory you can have.
Just so we are clear, we honored our Dad’s wishes by giving him the service he chose and published the obituary that he wrote himself prior to his death, when he was healthy! Everyone should take the time to reflect on their own feelings, rather than bringing the negativity here! Please let our Father rest in peace!
No negativity, just wanted all to be included and know that they’re just as loved as you and Ashley. His passing affected many people. Your father will rest peacefully as he is no longer suffering.
I don’t even know who you are but you’re obviously oblivious to the reality of the situation! We honored our Fathers wishes! Before you chose to chime in here, under his obituary, you really should have thought about it! I am extremely appalled by the complete and utter disrespect to our family, and I would appreciate if no further comments are made here! Thank you!
I am completely appalled that this family would choose to leave family out of the obituary and the service and continue to act like we don’t exist for you to come on this comment section and continue to be petty and disrespectful is ridiculous maybe grow up and reflect on yourself and the negativity you bring and allow my GRANDFATHER to rest in peace
