James Reed, 84, of Prospect St., New Haven, passed away June 20, 2014. Father of Robin Reed and Tyrone Reed, both of Boston, MA. Grandfather of Tyrone Reed, Jr., Rachaud Reed, Aquene Reed and Adnike John, great- grandfather of Ida-Sofia, Jose, Sadie Lucia, Meelcha and JJ Reed. James was employed at Yale University Divinity School Building and Grounds Dept. for over 30 years before retiring in 1994. He attended St. Mary's Church and enjoyed gardening and cycling. He had resided in New Haven for 67 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service of interment in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven on Tuesday, June 24, at 2 pm.
