John J. Kilmer

Cheshire - John J. Kilmer 78, formerly of Cheshire, died Friday, April 20, 2001 in the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven following a lengthly illness. His wife, Marie Glasberg Kilmer died in 1990. Father of Sharlene K. Gugarty of MA, brother of William of New Haven and Bertha Miller of NY. Also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, John B. Kilmer and a brother, Frank White, Jr. Mr Kilmer was born in Dover Plains, NY a son of the late Harold Kilmer and Charlotte Crane and Frank White Sr. He lived in Waterbury for many years before moving to Cheshire 45 years ago. He retired from The Bristol Company as a maintenance supervisor in 1985. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing cards. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington. BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden in care of arrangements.
