Jose A. Nieves

In New Haven, March 26, 2006 Jose A. "Pepe" Nieves of 394 First Ave., West Haven. He was the husband of the late Monserrate Seda Nieves. He was born in Guanica, Puerto Rico, April 24, 1912, son of the late Pedro and Zennobia Lopez Nieves. He was a accountant for the Puerto Rico Sugar Mill for 38 years prior to his retirement. Mr Lopez received his Master's Degree from the World University in Ponce, Campus, P.R. , and was a member of St. Paul's Church, West Haven. Mr. Lopez is survived by 3 daughter's, Consuelo N. Vuolo of Ridgewood, NY, Enid L. Nieves and Vilma E. Nieves both of West Haven, a niece, Sister Olga Santana, C.S.J., a sister, Mary Nieves Roman of Guanica P.R., a brother, Luis Nieves Lopez of Aguadilla, P.R. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Niel Peter & Ani Vuolo and Michael Joseph Vuolo.
