Kenneth R. Thomas, age 77, of West Haven, passed away on February 16, 2026. Born in New Haven on July 21, 1948, he was a son of the late Edwin Noble Thomas and Barbara Carrie (Eisenlord) Thomas. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lynda S. (Dunbar) Thomas; his stepdaughter, Wendy Azukas and her partner Stephen Cerrone, all of New Haven; his brothers, Richard Thomas and his wife Kathleen, and Gary Thomas, all of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his beloved cousin, Kathryn G. Thomas of Florida; as well several nieces, nephews, and other cousins, and his dog Divot. A resident of West Haven all of his life, he was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Little Rock. He worked with the family business, Thomas Sales and Service/Thomas Subaru in West Haven and later was a furniture salesman. Kenneth was an avid golfer and always enjoyed his duck pin bowling at Woodlawn Duckpin Bowling in West Haven. Kenneth was a longtime member of the Masons Annawon Lodge #115 in West Haven.
Friends may visit with his family at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Military Honors will take place at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Masonic Prayer Service by the Annawon Lodge.
