  1. Lloyd led a dedicated life to further the quality of public health with his unwavering commitment to the integrity of health information. He held a high bar for the rest of us to aspire towards. Lloyd’s contributions to the Connecticut Department of Public Health may never be fully realized. His legacy lives on in all of us. May we all feel a special privilege to have been able to have him grace our lives.

  2. Lloyd is a wise and kind scientist. I was privileged to have worked with Lloyd on small population issues. I truly missed hearing Lloyd’s insights at the conference calls.

  3. Lloyd will be missed in Tumor Registry here at Department of Public Health. I wish the Mueller family strength during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

  4. My condolences to Lloyd’s family and friends. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Lloyd was a colleague through the SEER Program and NAACCR annual conferences. He was someone that I admired not only for his epidemiology chops (he was so smart!) but he was also a good dancer! He will be missed by many!

  5. Sending so much love to you, Daria and Mat. Wishing you peace and comfort.

  8. Condolences to the family. I’m very sorry for your loss. Lloyd and I were together in graduate school at Yale. We had a small group of classmates so we were all good friends. I always admired Lloyd for his involvement in social causes and he taught me that, yes, men could be feminists. We all looked up to him. He will be so missed
