Lois D. Sansevero, 81 of Northford, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Former wife of the late Pasquale J. Sansevero, Lois is survived by her daughter Ellen Lois Sansevero and her fiancé Bonaventura Mezza of Northford. Lois was born in New Haven, March 15, 1929, daughter of the late John A. and Louise Bitzer DeLaubell and was a resident of Northford since 1951. Prior to moving to Northford, she had lived in Hamden and was educated in the Hamden schools. She was a 1986 graduate of SCSU, earning an A.S. degree. Lois was a violinist with the Hamden Little Symphony and the SCSU Symphonic Pops. She retired in 1989 after 25 years of service from SNET as an Administrative Service Rep. She had also worked as a window clerk in the 1960's for the Northford Post Office and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary - NVFD Co., #2. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 5-8:00 PM. Interment following the service in Northford Cemetery.
