Lorraine A. Thompson
Lorraine Ann Thompson, 94, of Hamden, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Lorraine was born in New York City on October 2, 1921. She was married to Frank Clarke Thompson for fifty-four years until he died in 1999. Her children are: Frances Thompson of Cheshire, John Thompson and his wife Kathryn of Wallingford, Michael Thompson and his wife Jacquelyn of North Haven, and Maureen Thompson of Hamden. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kristen Peck of Wallingford and Patrick Thompson and his wife Karen of Milford. Her great grandchildren are Samantha and Alexis Peck and Ryan, Claire and Nolan Thompson. She leaves her dear best friend of many years, Alice Cunningham of East Haven. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister Viola Ann McPhee of Cheshire. She was aunt to many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Stephen Church, 400 Ridge Road in Hamden at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 1st followed by a burial in All Saints Cemetery.
