Lorraine was my neighbor when I was growing up. She was always so kind. When I was a teen she got me a job at Arthur’s clothing store in the mart, working with her. I will always remember her smile.
Sue And family Praying for your healing, comfort, strength and peace during this painful time.
Sue- I met you and your mom when you were visiting your mom at Whitney manor having fell at meadow mills. You recommended meadow mills in Hamden for my mom who was also there rehabbing a broken shoulder and hip. Well mom was there since January 2019 and when I visited my mom in evening I always saw your mom with a smile on her face. She was such a happy woman and so easy to get along with. My mom-Madeline Squeglia, also passed – April 3-. A low fever at noon digressed to her passing early evening. I am sure you are feeling as I am- not being with mom before she passed. It is a cruel reality. I temper it with the fact that she enjoyed herself her last days being able to enjoy her freedom to use her walker everywhere in the facility. Your mom was the same way. I always saw her visiting the different houses, of course with a smile. Sincere sympathy to you and your family.
Sue, I’m so very sorry for the loss of your mom. My condolences to you and your family.

I still remember our trip to Las Vegas. Your mom was a firecracker! Jeremy and I are so sorry for your loss.
I loved your mom. I met her through the Hamden Woman’s Club. She was a lovely person inside and out, generous kind and funny. I worked with her on many club committees, she was tireless, enthusiastic, and selfless. Lorraine always smiled and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was a fabulous cook and we all looked forward to going to her house with the gourmet club! She made the best sauce! She was a faithful member of the club choral group as well. Everyone knew you could depend on Lorriane. I loved her. Please accept my condolences.
Linda and family, I am very sorry to hear that your mom has passed. As a friend of Linda’s in my youth, I always felt welcomed in their home. In later years, I often ran into Mrs. Mulligan shopping in Hamden. She would have a wonderful smile as we caught up on happenings in our lives. A lovely woman. Janis Moore Panagrossi
