Sending love, prayers and strength during this difficult time, from a fellow student at Storrs campus. He will most certainly be walking across the stage with us at graduation.

Marcus was a bright and promising young man who left us far too early.
My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the UConn CEIN 2023 class as you navigate this pain and grief. Rest in peace dear Marcus. You will be deeply missed.
Although I never met Marcus, he stood out to me through our online classes in the chat- he was so funny! There is no doubt he would have made an amazing nurse-we will always remember him. Our sincerest condolences from the Uconn Avery Point campus.
Many of us met Marcus through his wit that emerged via chat in UCONN Nursing CEIN Fundamentals lecture. He is CEIN family and we will miss his special light.
Offering our sincere condolences from the UCONN Stamford Campus.
Marcus,
You are so loved and will be forever missed. Your compassion and care for others is world class, and all of my thoughts and prayers are with you and Cameron and Ryan and your family right now. Until we meet next time.
Love,
Alex
My deepest condolences to the family. Thoughts and hugs at this time.
It takes intelligence, focus and determination to complete the UConn CEIN program. Extremely competitive selection each year and totally consuming to learn the Nursing curriculum in 12 months. And Marcus was succeeding at the 1/2 point. His family should be so proud and know he would have been a great addition to the Nursing Profession. Certainly this is a loss and tragedy. My thoughts go out to his family and friends
Jake & Colleen …Words cannot express how wholeheartedly devastated Beth & I are to hear of the loss of Marcus. Know that we will be here for you for anything you need. … our prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Marcus’s family and friends.
It takes so much mental fortitude to go through what Marcus was going through, as well as being in our nursing program. It speaks volumes to the type of man he was.
Marcus you will be with us in December and most importantly for the rest of our lives.
