Margaret F. LeFrancois, age 84, of 37 Rose Lane, North Branford, passed away on June 8th, 2010. Born in Lynn, MA on April 1st, 1926 she was the daughter of the late John & Frances Atkinson Liberge. Margaret was a beautician working in the New Haven & Madison areas for many years. She was an accomplished, self taught, painter and quilt maker. She designed and oversaw the construction of her dream house on a forested hillside which she had the good fortune to enjoy for 48 years. Margaret is survived by sons, Jeffrey G. LeFrancois and his wife Shawn Gallagher of Hamden, Gary LeFrancois and his wife Diana of Centreville, VA, and Gerard L. LeFrancois of East Haven. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her sister Catherine Brown of Mesa, Arizona, nieces, nephews and many friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husbands Gerard A. LeFrancois and Laurent E. LeFrancois and her brother John A. Liberge. Funeral Service will be Private. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Conn, Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

I have so many happy memories of her! She came to Florida with us in 1946… My mom, Aunt Theresa, and my dad, Uncle Nappy had so much fun with her and us in a little trailer. She lives in our hearts.
