Margaret K. Eureka
Margaret 'Peggy' K. Eureka, age 83, of Circular Ave, Hamden, passed away on October 17, 2011 in St. Raphael Hospital. Born in New Haven on June 9, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Thomas & Mary Leahey McMahon. Peggy is survived by her husband, Eugene G. Eureka, Sr; her son, Eugene G. Eureka, Jr of Meriden and her granddaughters Michelle & Quinn Eureka. She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Doherty and her brothers, John & Thomas McMahon. Peggy was employed at First Bank in New Haven for 38 years and was a member of the Irish American Club. Friends and relatives may attend her Graveside Service on Thursday, Oct. 20th at 10:00 am in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Section J, New Haven. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
