Mary Alusitz Wyman

Mary Alusitz Wyman, 89, loving wife of 50 years of Vaughn E. Wyman, passed away August 11, 2006 after a brief illness. She was born in New Britain, CT October 6, 1916, daughter of the late John and Julia Valentine Alusitz and was employed as a clerk at New Departure General Moters for 30 years before her retirement. She and her husband resided in Meriden, Cheshire, Newington and most recently Madison and Ft. Myers, FL. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed her garden and playing tennis. In celebration of their Golden Anniversary she and Vaughn took a cruise through the Pamama Canal. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters, Catherine Hunt of Cheshire, Ruth Alusitz of Durham, Elsie Scully of Old Saybrook and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. Service of Interment will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 10 am in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. Rev. Perry Beaver will officiate. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT-FLATOW Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
