Oh Rose. I am so sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. Our deepest condolences to you and the family. Sending love.
Dear Rosemary- Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We were saddened to hear the news. Matt was truly “one of a kind” ! He always made sure that everyone was having a good time and was being taken care of. I loved going to the many wreath making parties, to kick of the holiday season, and learning the “art”. He loved showing us his tractor and truck. Also, I will never forget the trip to your house in Delhi, breakfast outside in the mornings, bonfire at night, the trip to the country fair, and the long scary night walk we did.
We are so sorry to hear of the Matt’s passing. We know how much he was loved by his wife, siblings and extended family and will be truly missed.
Our prayers are with all of you at the very difficult time.
Chris & Rich McLaughlin
We will miss seeing Matt taking care of his yard and waving to the neighbors.
So sorry to hear of losing our good neighbor ,Matt. We will miss him.
Rosemary sorry for your loss.. I was so blessed to have met you and Matt years ago..He was so kind and you both so gracious the time we spent with you. Your in my heart and prayers..
Rosemary, I am really saddened to hear of Matt’s passing. I’m sure he told you I was able to see him last month when my son Sean was hospitalized at Hartford Hospital, only a few rooms away. An amazing coincidence that I guess was just meant to be. I know he had his ups and downs at GTI but I always felt privileged to be able to work with him. He was a person who would do anything for the company and it was greatly appreciated. I’m going to miss his positive spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with you. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven…
Rosemary I am completely shocked right now, I’m so sorry. There are certain people in life that are so unique & special you just will never forget them. I have fond memories of traveling with Matt on jobs to different parts of the country & playing golf with him. He always made me laugh but right now the tears won’t stop.
Mine either…
Rosemary. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Matt always had a smile and a wave as we drove by. Always tending to the yard. We will cherish our chats with him at the fence. He was truly a remarkable guy. Earl and Lyne Lockhart
So very sorry for your (our) loss! We will sorely miss Matt’s wit and wisdom. We remember his as always being positive, energetic and generous. We hope that the memories of friends and family of Matt provide some measure of comfort to Matt’s wife, my sister – Rose. A friend of ours provided these words when we lost someone close to us – “From Orion’s belt his spirit is a star, but in your memory and heart he is never far.”
Matt was my neighbor, my sons Boy Scout leader, friend, hockey teammate and a good man, we all will miss his quirky sense of humor – RIP
MY condolences to Mark, Faith and the rest of the family. Matt was an old friend from Boy Scouts, fellow Camp Nahaco Staff, He was a great guy and I remember all the fun times we had back in the day. I regret that I can’t make the service, but I have prior commitments for the long weekend.
Matt, may you rest in peace my friend and we will see in the afterlife.
IT was my honor to have known you.

Rest in the Lord’s Sweet Peace, Matt
Rosemary my prayers and thoughts are with you always. Matt was a great, wonderful person. no one could ever replace him. He was truly a unique person who was loved by everyone. Hope you know that you can always count on me to help you in any way. With love and affection. Heddy
Dear Rosemary,
Offering condolences just doesn’t seem adequate enough. My heart breaks for you and for everyone who had the honor of knowing Matt.
Some of my daughters very first memories involve Matt and Rosemary … racing the dogs up and down the driveway, watching Matt train the dogs on their obstacle course, watching Matt and family build the beautiful outdoor fireplace and terrace, watching Matt use his leaf blower to keep our little corner of the neighborhood crisp and clean and the wave hello and goodbye from his garden every time we passed by your house.
Matt is so much more than a neighbor … the same goes for Rosemary as well. Matt and Rosemary, or as my kids used to call them, “MatterMary” are true friends.
I wish I could offer more than love.
Matt:
You were a good friend Kit & I will surely miss you. We enjoyed our many get togethers, with you and Rosemary. The special trips with you, whether we were going to a concert, dinner or a road trip up to Sturbridge, Mystic, etc. we always had a wonderful time. Thank you for always making these trips a special occasion. We will hold our special memories of the time spent you in our hearts. . .until we meet again! God Bless you!!
Barry & Kit
We are so sorry for your loss. Matt no longer is suffering. I will always remember growing up next-door to you guys, and to Matt. He was such a gentleman. I never heard him yell, and he always had a smile on his face. He would do anything for anybody. Now he is at peace with his mom and dad and of course other people who have passed on. Love all of you I will pray for you Sincerely, 😻🥰😍
I was so sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. I have known the Morin family for many, many years and most recently Matt was interested in my son’s sled hockey endeavors. He will truly be missed. Prayers and happy memories for his family. Love Michelle, Dave and Ryan
I will never forget the day Rosemary said “that man is the love of my life” or Matt singing and dancing with her in the kitchen to country song “She Thinks My Trailors Sexy”. A true love story. They brought so much joy to each others lives. And I remember Matt always getting Holly and Ewald to laugh out loud and bring them joy. He was a wonderful son in law to them. One in a million. My sincerest condolences. There are no words other than to try to take some solace in knowing he knew how much he was loved.
Dear Mark, Faith, and Matthew’s Family,
We wish to give you our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your brother Matthew. We remember you from many years ago when you lived in Wethersfield, CT. We remember all three of you being very friendly and well-mannered children when we visited you and your mother Nancy at your home while she was married to Clem Hitchcock, Marci’s brother. We have thought of you over the years and are happy that you are all successful and have wonderful families.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and may Matthew Rest in Peace.
We will make a donation in his name.
