Michael T. Horobin, Jr., age 31, of West Haven, passed away at his home on September 22, 2021. Born in New Haven on August 14, 1990, he was the son of the late Michael T. Horobin, Sr. and Alison Rose (Battista) Horobin. Michael is survived by his sister Lauren Horobin of West Haven, and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Michael was employed by local restaurants, and he also worked security when needed. He was a high school wrestler and practiced jujitsu. He enjoyed watching physical combat shows and auto shows, and loved all animals.
Friends may attend a celebration of his life on Wednesday, September 29th from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Burial will be private. Contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to the West Haven Animal Shelter, 7 Collis St., West Haven, CT 06516.
