Mildred Erhardt Lind

Mildred Erhardt Lind, 98, wife of the late Carl Victor Lind passed away January 25, 2005 after a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY Aug. 28, 1906 a daughter of the late George and Mabel Bresby Erhardt and lived in West Haven for most of her life before moving to the Davenport-Dunbar Residence in Hamden. She was a graduate of Stone College, class of 1928, secretary at the Bodwell Reality Co.of New Haven for 8 years, a secretary for Dr. Harry Conte for 9 years, a long time member of the First Church of Christ in New Haven, and a member of the Girls Friendly Society of New Haven. She is survived by her daughters Judith C. Holcomb of New Haven, Cynthia L. Sheckley of Scarborough, ME, her sons, Gordon E. Lind of Framingham, MA, and David C. Lind of Cardiff, CA., 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lind was predeceased by a sister Katherine E. White, and 2 brothers Edward M. and Leroy Erhardt. Funeral service will be held Saturday Jan. 29, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Church on the Green, New Haven.
