Mr. Craig Alan Otto
Craig Alan Otto, age 47, of Hamden, passed away April 7, 2013 at his residence. Born in New Haven on January 4, 1966, he was a son of the late Henry G. 'Dutch' Otto, Ret. HPD and Faith A. Wachtelhausen Otto with whom he resided. Craig is also survived by his daughter, Signe Reese Otto of Riverview, FL; his son Justin Otto of New Haven; his step-daughter Miranda Adinolfi of New Haven; his grandson Christopher Aiden Romero; his sisters Mary Lynn (Luis) Nieves of Wallingford, Mary Eileen, Barbara and Kathy Otto; brother Jay (Kit) Cei of Wallingford; sister in-law Marisa Cei of Deptford, NJ; 1 special niece & 5 beloved nephews. Craig was predeceased by his brother Mark Cei. He was formerly employed at Messy Marvin's Carpet Cleaning, Stop & Shop Warehouse and he was a technician at Yale New Haven Hospital. Friends may visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Wednesday, April 10th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, followed by interment in Hamden Plains Cemetery.

Faith and Family – I was so shocked to hear of Craig’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It has been a long time since I saw him but I will always remember fondly that smart aleck kid who used to hang out in my dad’s office and tease my sister and I and make up words – to this day I’m not sure I will ever know what .inframigated. meant but it was one of his favorites.

Faith and Family, We always enjoyed talking with Craig when the Wachtelhausen family got together for one reason or another. He always asked how our sons were doing and what they were up to. i was very sad to learn of Craig.s passing. The last time I saw Craig was at my father.s wake and he offered me his sincere condolences. As I tell myself at the loss of a loved one, they are truly in a much better place. My sincerest condolences to all his family.
Kathy, I am soooo sadden for you and your family. I know there is very little I can say to easy the passing of your brother. You are in my thoughts and tons of prayers are coming your way. Make sure you know where your feet are and breath. One step at a time my friend.
