Guestbook

  1. Family: Praying that God will comfort you. Words cannot express the sadness felt at this time. Having known Nathaniel was a blessing! He was a great friend and work colleague at Cytec Chemical Co. I depended on him for advice and counsel in many matters. I will miss him greatly, but I have many great memories. Rest In Peace My Friend! We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8 Love Nathaniel Fountain

  8. Sending heartfelt condolences to the entire Stewart Family. I met Nat thru his sister MaryAlice whom was neighbor and her kids babysat mine. Later she moved Nat then moved in with his rules of “look keep ur place clean I don’t like bugs 😂” Rule2 “don’t ask 2borrow 😂. Nxt day he came home I was on my porch having a cocktail as he passed not a word did I say. He came back down saying he 4got his OJ askn 2 buy a bottle if I had extra. That day I had courage 2tell him off 😂. As we argued over the borrow rule JJ Ferry owner of adjacent property told us both 2move our vehicles and keep volume down as he was about 2 have a service. Well we never moved cars I gave him the OJ we both sat on his porch hoping not 2be towed. From that day till now The Stewarts were like Family. When he told me he was getting married I asked could I meet her he said NO. I really thought he was joking as always. Later I did meet Mary 1st time we hit it off, brought me so much joy he’d definitely met his match she was a keeper. It snowed later that yr me thinkn no work 2day he knocked 2 ask if I had chains. I admitted I was afraid 2drive he said let’s go 30mins later on the vacant lot he taught me. So many fond memories later I relocated 2VA on vacation they came 2visit me. Our friendship remained I’d call and talk man stuff with him then women stuff with Mary. Each visit 2CT was not complete if we didn’t get 2gether. September was my last visit and as always we played “our song” I wish it would rain by the Temptations. This time the 3 of us played and sang oldies I took alot of pics of them with there grans we had a beautiful time. While I know he’s in no more pain a far better place I’m heartbroken I truly miss my friend already. I will always continue 2love this family …..

  10. I will forever cherish the moments that we spent together and the many lessons I’ve learned from you.
( especially that one time as a little girl when I kicked so high in the air, trying to compete with my cousins Krystal❤️ and William❤️..and I won.., but fell on my back and almost broke my back.. boy did you teach me tough love and I nearly gave you a heart attack)
I miss the good times and your random FaceTime calls, which I will never understand how you always managed to find my name claiming you were trying to call Daddy!!
I’ll miss your laugh and stories, the random lectures, and of course your sarcasm.

You will truly be missed Uncle Bookie. Not only are you my Daddy’s Older brother but your the first uncle that I met when I moved to Connecticut and with your twisted way of showing love you made sure that you always told me how much you love my Black ($$$)❤️‍🩹

  12. My condolences to the Stewart family. I have known Nate and Mary for 20 years and needless to say they are my favorite parents of my childhood friends (William & Krystal).
As a teen Krystal and I played softball together and when I tell you every practice, every game. Nate was right there cheering us on! I will never forget the love and compassion this man had for his wife, children & grandkids. Rest in Paradise Nate, you’ve gained your wings. You will be terribly missed 💔🕊️✨🤲🏾

  13. Sending sincere condolences to you and your family! May the peace of God be with you all at this time of bereavement! May God strengthen you all, sharing the love you had with Uncle Boogie. This is something he would want. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and there is no sorrow in earth that heaven can not heal!
