My brother my friend since New York 1963. I loved all the talks we had, even the one on Christmas Day.I will always remember you as Button. You are my Best Man ( inside joke). I Love you Button your sister Earlene.

Such a great man and I’ll cherish every memory and make sure your LEGACY will live forever through your grandchildren! It’s never goodbye so I’ll see you later 💔🙏🏼
I am saddened to learn of Nevin’s passing. He was my student at Pulaski in both 4th and 5th grades and I have many fond memories of him in class. We had a good understanding of each other and had a good relationship despite some of his problems. He came back to visit me on the day he was going to graduate from Platt and told my students I was the best teacher he ever had and that they should always listen to me. He then went on to say I was the reason he knew his multiplication tables and, more importantly, I was the reason he was graduating that night. That made me so proud. Rest in Peace, Nevin, you were taken too soon.
