Robert Marcel Simoneau, 53, of Meriden, passed away March 30, 2012 in the Masonic Hospice, Wallingford. Robert was born in Meriden March 20, 1959 a son of the late Rene and Doris Simoneau, Sr. and had resided in Meriden all of his life. Father of Lisa Simoneau of Meriden, brother of Ann Marie, Paula, Nancy, Karen, Priscilla, Rachel, Irene, Rene, Jr, and Richard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was an avid Red Sox and Cowboys fan. Special thanks to the staff at Masonic, Ramage # 5 and Hospice, and to the Mid-State Hospice Team. Funeral service will be Tuesday April 3, at 11 am in the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave. Meriden. Friends may visit with his family Tuesday morning from 9-11 am.   2. I remember the days when we use to go to Wharton State Park in Wallingford, CT. As little kids and played at the Pond. I have wonderful memories of those days when both of our families would get together on the weekends and play. Now we are all getting older and have gone in different directions but we are still tied by those memories and the fact that we are family.
