Rudolph A. Brandi

Rudolph A. Brandi, 89, of Hamden, loving husband of Patricia (Pat) Deotosio Brandi, passed away on April 11, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 6, 1936, the son of the late Albert and Beatrice Guglielmo Brandi. In addition to his wife Patricia, Rudolph (Rudy) is survived by his daughters, Gina Palm and her husband John, and Marna Gallicchio and her husband Eric. He also leaves his grandchildren, Anthony Palm and his wife Taylor, Brandon Palm, and Alexa Gallicchio, his nephews, Robert Fitzgerald and his wife Joy, and Albert Fitzgerald and his wife Cathy. He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Raymond Fitzgerald.

Rudy grew up in West Haven, CT and was a graduate of Boardman Trade Technical School. He worked as an engineer at Perkin-Elmer (SVG) and retired in 1998 at age 62. He and Pat spent their retirement years “snow-birding” in West Palm Beach. He loved camping with his family and country-western dancing. He and Pat traveled across the county twice in their motor-home and traveled to Italy with his daughter. He was a family man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
