Ruth S. Caron Moro

Meriden- Ruth S. Caron Moro, wife of Lewis J. Moro, Sr. of Terrace Lane passed away Sat., Oct. 23, 2004 in MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Island Falls, ME, May 5, 1931 a daughter of the late John and Dora Ploude Caron and grew up in Sheridan, ME and later moved to Ashland, ME before moving to Meriden in 1963. Ruth was employed as an inspector at the International Silver Co. from 1964 to 1981. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband she is the mother of nine children; Lawrence R. Moro and his wife, Elisabeth of Windsor, CT, Larry J. Moro and his wife Lise, of Middletown, CT, Arnold W. Moro and his wife Karen, of New Britian, CT, Maurice T. Moro and his wife Deborah of Meriden, CT, Lewis J. Moro, Jr. and his wife Linda of Satsuma, FL, Katherine M. Dumont and her husband Chester of Meriden, CT, Dora H. Lavigne and her husband Albert of Meriden, CT, Noreen A. Thomas and her late husband George of Bristol, CT and predeceased by a son Kenneth L. Moro. Sister of Willaim Coro of Manchester , CT, Alfred Caron of Dunedin, Fl, Nelton Caron of Largo, Fl, Carl Caron of Prince George, VA, Emma Luz (Caron) of Manchester, CT, Yvette Parent (Caron) of Vernon, CT, Elaine Andrelski (Caron) of Nashville, TN and the late Frank Caron. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT-FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, Wed., Oct. 27, at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Holy Angels Church at 10 a.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
