Sri Aditjahjo
Sri Aditjahjo, 83, of West Haven passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 in New Haven. Wife of the late Heru Aditjahjo, she is survived by daughter Tri Widjajakusuma of West Haven and sons Eko Santoso and Dwi Soegiharto, both of Indonesia. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Aditjahjo was born in Indonesia on December 27, 1926. Service from BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 8:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Our Lady of Victory Church, West Haven at 9 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday evening from 4-8 PM. Memorial Contributions in Mrs. Aditjahjo's name may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church, 600 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven, CT 06516.
I would give anything to be there with all the poplee whose lives Connie touched. I could not get a caregiver for my Mother who has Alzheimer’s but I want you to know I am there in Spirit. I had to come off the road and away from racing to care for Mom but some of my best memories are those with Con and TransAm. Of course she was there for my big fall at Road America too. Connie always had a good outlook and the most positive person in all matters that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Con you will remain in our hearts and memories. A real person with a true dedication to SCCA and all those that worked along side you. You will be missed more than you could ever imagine. Thank you for being you and one day I hope to meet up with you again at that big racetrack in the sky. May you rest in peace
