Susan Marrinan Dupee, 102, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023 in Milford, CT.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stuart G. Dupee for 73 years. Susan was born in New Haven on February 17, 1921, daughter of the late William and Madelle Flynn Marrinan. Susan is survived by her children, Stuart W. Dupee (Muriel), Jane D. Pniewski (Michael) and James S. Dupee (Joyce), all of West Haven, and eight grandchildren, Kimberly Forbes, Michelle (Jamie) Viesselman, Keith (Elizabeth) Dupee, Jason (Lisa) Pniewski, Janna (Kevin) Farrell, Jessica (Eric) Carmody, Elliott (Allison) Dupee and Evan Dupee. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Forbes, Morgan and Kyle Viesselman, Wynn and Davis Dupee, Emma, Justin and Ryan Pniewski, Georgia and Sawyer Farrell, Cohlton and Preston Carmody, Nathan and Madelyn Dupee. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Susan and Stuart met while skating in the New Haven Arena in 1940 and had been devoted to one another ever since. Susan was an accomplished figure skater and was teaching skating when they met. They square-danced together for many years and Susan participated in the West Haven Garden Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Susan’s memorial service on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 28 Church Street, West Haven. Burial will be private. Beecher and Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations in Susan’s name may be made to Connecticut Hospice.
