Theresa Kish, age 75, of Beacon Falls, CT passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on November 7, 1948, daughter of the late Leo and Theresa (Kukas) Daigle. A Connecticut resident her whole life, she lived in Beacon Falls with her loving husband, Alvah Kish, where they both enjoyed retirement.

In addition to her amazing husband, Terry is survived by her daughters, Tammy Posila (Dennis), Kelly Cataudella (David), and Heather Shenker (Eran), and two stepsons, Alvah Kish, Jr. and Jason Kish (Nancy). Terry loved all of her grandchildren, Zachary, Alyssa, Kyle, Jordyn, Macy, Emily, Amy, Annalise, Abigale, Rae, Jonas, and the newest member of the family, born just days ago, Ezra.

Theresa had a zest for life and loved spending time in the sun. Her favorite pastime was cruising with her husband and dancing the night away listening to live music performed by her favorite cruise band, Alterr Jam. Sonny, Gerald, Lito and Mar have been a huge part Terry and Alvah’s love story for the last 20 years. Thankfully, they were able to make a surprise visit to see her before she passed.

  1. I have known her daughter Heather for a long time, and I could see what an amazing, loving, and fun person her Mom was. I can see the love and nurturing that Heather received from her amazing mother come out in her mothering abilities! I am sorry for losing this amazing light in many people’s lives. I am thinking and praying for them during this time.
