In Branford, June 23, 2001, Warren ''Bo'' Frederick Collins, 74, of 420 Leetes Island Rd., husband of Nancy Robinson Colllins. Born in Branford December 23, 1926, a son of the late William G. and Eva Northam Collins. He was the grandson of the late Jane Botsford and Calvin Kellogg Northam. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during W.W. II and the Korean War. A member of the Branford Police Dept., he joined the Connecticut State Police, retiring after 31 years in 1989. Mr. Collins served the Town of Branford as Third Selectman from 1995 to 1997. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters, Gail Ball of Branford, Bethany Irwin of State College, PA, sons, Warren R. and Darren S. Collins, both of Branford, a brother Charles ''Toot'' Collins of Branford, a sister, Joyce C. Wells of Haifax, MA, grandchildren, Maggie and Connor Ball, Lauryn and Kathryn Collins all of Branford and Patrick and Kyla Irwin of State College, PA. A Memorial service will be held in Trinity Episcopal Church,Branford on Thursday, June 28 at 11 AM. Arrangements with BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Stony Creek Cemetery Assocation, 52 Sawmill Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
