Wilfred C. Stebbins Meriden - Wilfred C. Stebbins, 86, of 1274 East Main St., died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at Cheshire Convalescent Home. He was born in East Berlin, CT, August 16, 1915 a son of the late Charles and Stella Knight Stebbins. He was employed as a glazier with the Lee Glass Company in Hartford. He was a member of the National Guard CoMeds for 11 years, the Knights of Columbus and the Glazier Union. He is survived by a son, W. Ronald Stebbins of Meriden, two nieces, Patricia Stebbins and Sharon Kenny both of Bristol and a cousin, Richard Stebbins of Portland. He was predeceased by a son, Lawrence Robert Stebbins and two brothers, Charles Robert Stebbins and Thomas H. Stebbins. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
