In Hartford, April 23, 2001 Zoriada Cotto-Vega, 47, of 90 West Helen St., Hamden, mother of Johnny Vega and David Vega both of Hamden, daughter of Julia Velasquez Cotto of Puerto Rico and the late Luis Cotto, sister of Hector Cotto, Florencio Cotto both of Hamden, Renaldo Cotto of New Haven, Samuel Cotto and Nativida Cotto both of Hamden, Nancy Cotto-Bowles of Durham and the late Jose Cotto and Daniel Cotto. Zoriada was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on May 30, 1953. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Friday, April 27, 2001 at 9:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 o'clock at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
