Born in:
New Haven, CT
Resided in:
New Haven, CT
Yvonne Francesca White was born March 22, 1989 in New Haven, CT to her loving parents, the late Juanita White and Michael Allen Batts. Yvonne lived in New Haven all of her life and created lifelong friends along the way. She attended the New Haven School System and graduated from Hillhouse High School, where she was a cheerleader. She always had dreams of attending college, and those dreams were fulfilled when she attended Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC, where she was Homecoming Queen.
After school, Yvonne became a Certified Nursing Assistant, with plans to finish her LPN program. Yvonne had a strong work ethic and along with her outgoing personality, wherever she applied for work, they hired her immediately. Yvonne also worked as a nurse in private homes for the sick and elderly. Yvonne loved people, and was a hostess and bartender at Charles & James for many years. Anything she desired, Yvonne was focused, worked hard and obtained whatever the goal-school, jobs, her own place and her favorite automobile. She vacationed with family to Disney, Caribbean islands, and Virginia Beach. Needless to say, Yvonne was very independent and autonomous. One of her best qualities was her sense of humor. Yvonne could find a joke in almost any situation. She loved sports, especially football and basketball, as well as concerts and dancing. Yvonne was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. We will miss her laugh and beautiful smile.
Yvonne will be remembered for being strong, courageous and resilient, but most of all she was loved by God and anyone that truly knew her. Yvonne always had a strong faith and a relationship with Our Lord! May she rest in His Loving Arms always.
She leaves behind her paternal grandmother, Mary J. Green; her partner, Erin Gardner, and their beautiful son, Erian Michael Gardner; stepmother, Linda Kendall; brothers, Ernest, Elijah, Jeramie, Danny (Jerold), and Kevin; special sister, Desiree Williams; special friends, Duke Lobo and Patrice Santos; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Yvonne was predeceased by grandparents Danny and Mary Williams, mother, Juanita White, father, Michael Batts, sister, Kiashema White, and nephew, Quayshawn.

To my niece from another sister ! May you rest well love ! To know you is to love you ! May the life you live speak for you ! I am speaking in the present tense! Just one of a kind. You will be missed and forever in our hearts and memories. Until we meet again – love you forever ! Auntie Andrea (Lobo) as you call me. And I welcome it from you – and you know I don’t play that “auntie” stuff from everyone. Because Brooke and Duke are my hearts ! But you are so special and so good to them, that we take you as our own ! Only few are chosen and you are one. Love you kid until we meet again 😭. Praying for your beautiful family – hugs and kisses until we cross again … 😭
You will forever be missed by all that loved you.
Being friends since elementary school there’s so many memories I can write about. As kids, your sleepovers were epic! I always felt like apart of your wonderful family. We were so excited that we were attending not only the same middle school, but high school as well. You’ve always been so kind, so loving, so funny. I’m going to miss you girly. Praying for your son and family. P.S. Please hug Mother Love for me.💕🕊️💕
May you find rest in God’s arms.
Blessings 💙💙💙💙
