Dianne I. Hurlburt

Dianne I. Hurlburt, age 74, of Hamden passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on January 10, 2026. Born in New Haven on December 3, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Flora (Spaulding) Hurlburt. A resident of New Haven for many years, she formerly worked at Bella Vista Apartments in New Haven. She is survived by her son, Raymond Smith, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Clarksville, Tennessee; her sister, Flora and her husband Alex of West Haven; and her brothers, Kenneth M. Hurlburt and his wife Debbie, David Hurlburt, and Russell Hurlburt, all of Hamden. Dianne also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Quiles, and brothers, Dennis M. Hurlburt and Kenneth Hurlburt.
Friends may visit with her family on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Dianne’s Prayer Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by her burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.
