Sharon L. (Dupuis) Augustyniak

Meriden - Sharon L. (Dupuis) Augustyniak, 62, died on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Hartford Hospital. She was born April 8, 1948 in Meriden a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Knaggs) Dupuis. Sharon worked for the State of Connecticut as a mental health worker in addiction services. She is survived by two daughters; LeeAnn Barre and Tracy and her husand Bill Harper, a son Michael Barre, her sister, Beth and her husband George Crawford, a brother, Richard Dupuis, five grandchildren; Rachael, Steven, Jonathan, Joseph and Brianna, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a close friend, Cheryl Hunter. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Susan J. Dupuis. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. The Rev. Nancy Beckwith will officiate a service at 4 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Relay for Life of Meriden-Wallingford, Team: Susan's Sunrise at MAIN.ACSEVENTS.ORG.

Dear Beth and Rick-I am so sorry to learn of Sharon’s death. I received a call from my aunt who resides in Meriden. I wasn’t aware that Sharon had been ill and I wanted you to know that I will keep her and your family in my prayers.
