Barbara Sandquist

Barbara Sandquist, of Hamden, formerly of East Haven, passed peacefully on April 3, 2026 with her family by her side.

Barbara was born on June 5, 1948 to Stanley Sandquist and Marion Drummey Sandquist in New Haven, CT. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Gerry and Mark Parisi of Branford, and her sister, Laura Sandquist of Wallingford.

Barbara had a deep love for animals, especially companion cats. She enjoyed going to the casino and camping. She spent her summers growing up at Lanphiers Cove in Branford. She worked at various restaurants in the New Haven area and eventually retired from Yale New Haven Hospital.

Barbara’s family would like to thank the staff at Regency House for all of their help and support, especially Deb.
